Cons
- May become susceptible to scratches if not maintained adequately.

Luxury Vinyl

- Can fade over time with sunlight
- Thinner ones will be less sound proof
- Thinner or glue down don’t have the same foot feel.
Laminate
A multi-layer synthetic flooring product fused together with a lamination process.Laminate flooring has the appearance of wood (or sometimes stone) with a photographic applique layer under a clear protective layer.

- Scratch resistant
- Durability
- Great foot feel
- Affordable
Cons
- Not good with water or moisture
- Can’t be sanded down and refinished
Carpet
